As of yesterday evening this semester is officially over. Both my finals were yesterday, so now I'm just waiting for grades to be posted.

I was borderline in one class, but think I crushed the final. If I got an A in both classes, then I'll talk to the advisor about going ahead and registering for classes in the fall. That could mean I could work until around Sept 1st. Right now I'm scheduled for a class in the summer, which would mean leaving around June 3rd. A little freedom sure feels good.

Not that anybody's looked anyway, but I ended up with 103 out of 90 points on that final I was worried about, for a mother fucking 114%. I needed a low 90 on the final for an A, since that was one of only TWO grades all year (one midterm and one final).

I got the green light to not take the third class. Now I have to change my major and wait to be accepted before I can register. I'm glad I get to work the extra 3 months, both for the money and so that I don't have to drive 35-40 min four days a week for two hours a day .

As long as I start in the fall it looks like my classes will fall perfectly. 6 semesters, but they'll all be on the low end at 12 hours. There's simply no way to get around it since I'm core complete and most of the classes are all prereqs for each other. It also leaves absolutely zero room for any mistakes as five of the classes are only offered during spring or fall. Missing one class would throw me off a whole calendar year instead of just one semester.

P.S. My first semester schedule will rock. 1 online class and the other three are all middle of the day classes (two 11:30-1 and one 1-2:30).

Yeah, guess I wasn't specific. I'm trying to finish a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

I submitted the petition for change of major, just waiting on approval. So far all of the classes I need are still open, but we'll see.
