[PCLZ28]

For a while the steering would jerk slightly in a curve going slow. Now the power steering has failed completely. The pump is full on fluid and has not whined as they usually do when one is going out. Could it still be the pump or something else?

Oh and it has a 305 A4. when on the freeway it wont downshift to drive out of OD under slight pedal depression. It will actually drop all the way to 2nd gear if you keep trying to accelerate!!! Is there an adjustment cable or anything like the old TV cables on these trucks?

No I had a new pump put on and that has helped but it is still jerking at low speeds like it did before it went out completely.
