FP is 50psi while priming and then it drops to 40 psi and holds.

Pulled coil wire from coil with a grounded test light and the coil arked to the test light however it was more orange than blue.

Pulsing ground on #1 injector has a slow rythum about once every second or two.

Everything tested out. If it said to replace the coil I hooked up another coil that i have. If it said to install a new icm i plugged another one i have in. Still no change.

Tried the different combinations of icm and coil and with and without the msd 6a and it never would start.

Couple days ago I Pulled the opti after running through Harlans no start write up.

Checking the cap over found the coil contact all cruddy. Pulled the coil wire off the car and the water pump had been spraying on the coil wire and it was rusty.

Cleaned the coil contact on the opti, used an old coil wire from before the moroso's, tighted the rotor screws and re-installed the opti. Hooked the battery up and the car fired like it is suppose to.

Got up the next morning and it fired just like it was suppose to. Put the car back together.

Started the car and it fired just like it's suppose to.

Car started to get warm and found a hose leaking. Turned off car, fixed leak, and restarted, took almost 2 seconds to fire which is a long time.

Found a bleeder screw not tight, turned off the car, checked a few things, and tightened bleeder screw. Car took 4 seconds to start which is even longer. Went for a drive.

Came home, turned the car off for about 30-45 minutes while I re-installed the muffler, went to restart and it would not start.

Yeah I sent him a pm as well. I am really stumped. Hopefully he can find the time to shed some light on the situation.

There was a guy on another board ranting about how you can't check the function of the optispark without a ocillascope?

Another guy told me to ground the opti side of the coil wire and verify spark there. If there is spark then it's most likely a bad cap and rotor. This guy also has a down car with a msd opti that is also 2 years old so I wonder if MSD had a bad batch of caps/rotors?
