ive had the computer for almost exactly a year now, its a Dell E1405. this morning i tried to turn it on and nothing happened. i also noticed the light on the power cord was not on. so i unplugged the cord and tried it in a different outlet, and the power light came back on. when i plugged it into the computer, the light turned off. i tried this several times and the same thing happened. any clue what the problem is?

so do you think its the cord rather than the laptop itself?
also, have you ever seen the light turn off when you plug it into the laptop?

I had so many problems with my Toshiba cord as well. I never had mine catch fire though!
I do not know what to put here.
