Man, I dunno what to do. I used my other CD rom with the "fresh" HD to install windows. It seemed to be ok. So I took that back to the HD that had the faulty windows on it. It copied files ok, but at the last stage of windows install, it still keeps shutting the computer off when it goes to about 34 mins left and :installing devices".
I'm in the back up drive now running windows and looking at the original HD that I have hooked up as well as the secondary. It looks fine, but I need to find a way to back up the accounting program info so that I can transfer it onto the new drive. I just have no idea where it is. I dunno how they use the file systems for the information. If I cant get the original drive to boot up, I might be effed in the A,

Damn... I think I saved everything. The HD just seems fine, so I dunno why it won't boot. But I loaded the app in the other HD and used it to try and pull the info from the other HD and so far it's working. Now if I can restore it to this HD's app I should be able to save it ok.
I think I'll then take the original drive and wipe it and see how it works. if it's ok I'll load windows on it and the other apps as well. Basically make it 2 separate HD's with the ability to do the exact same thing. One fails, you can boot into the other and keep going. As long as she backs up info in both every day, and makes a separate back up outside of the app as well, I don't think she could possibly screw it up.
Still wondering if the CD rom is sketchy or not. So hard to tell.
